Company Badger Fencing, Croydon
Courtwood primary school in Croydon had severe problems with badgers entering their grounds and damaging their sports pitches and associated turf. Due to the escalating costs of remedying the damage to the pitches, and ongoing maintenance not viable, a more permanent solution was required. It was decided that permanent badger fencing would be installed around the site perimeter in order to prevent badgers from entering the site.
Blackdown Environmental were responsible for the supply and installation of 200m of permanent badger fencing at a school site in Croydon, in order to prevent badgers from entering the school site and preventing proposed development works.
Following a competitive tendering process, Blackdown Environmental were selected to undertake the works by Concept Building Services.
