Eliminating Mould at Vacant Property

Our client, VPS, were acting on behalf of their client, who were having difficulty sourcing a contractor to assist in the clearance of a vacant property which was heavily affected with mould.

Mould remediation is the term used to describe all the processes involved in eliminating harmful mould growth. It includes removal, sanitizing, containment, and cleaning, depending on the type and location. Our Solution

The solution that NBC recommended and then implemented on to the site, was the introduction of a mould remediation service which be comprised of a 4 part treatment:

• Our technicians use a HEPA-rated vacuum to remove any loose mould and remove wallpaper from the walls in affected areas
• Removal of all contaminated loft insulation
• We then spray an antimicrobial agent over all areas of mould
• Our technicians then wipe down the areas affected to remove the surface mould
• The team finish by fogging the room to kill any airborne mould spores

The works were carried out over two days and completed to the clients satisfaction.
