What’s it like?
NBC Regional Surveyors spend most of their time in their allocated areas, communicating with prospective and existing customers. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager you will be expected to pro-actively manage your sales territory to obtain new business and deliver effective account management for the NBC brand.
This role suits experienced sales executives, preferably with an interest in wildlife and the countryside. Industry experience isn’t entirely necessary as we can provide training, what we’re looking for is a confident person, with excellent communications skills, a positive outlook and the drive to break through barriers and challenges.
So what do we ask from you?
It goes almost without saying that we need you to bring work into the business. We set a target of generating a minimum of £60,000 per month in quotations and a sales revenue target of £20,000 per month.
Alongside new business, you’ll maintain good relationship with existing customers and include additional works wherever suitable. Our customers are important and you’ll be expected to answer initial enquiries within 2 hours and provide transparent pricing in line with our sales policies.
You’ll be responsible for all quotations and for logging details in our database of customer visits, key data, proposals, survey dates, framework agreements, KPIs and any service issues or complaints.
Health and Safety is important in our business and you’ll be required to complete Method Statements and Risk Assessments as necessary.
Equally as important as customer relations, you’ll also build a good working relationship with the service and operations team. Updating them on upcoming projects or changes helps keep our business running smoothly and efficiently.

Holiday – 28 days
Salary – Basic of £24,000 per annum and on target earnings (OTE) of £50,000
