What’s it like?
As a Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for managing the business operations in your area and creating a positive environment for staff to exceed clients’ expectations and achieve financial targets. Working with the Service Desk Manager you’ll allocate works with the resources available to achieve targeted RPM.
80% of your time will be spent on fee earning projects and 1 day a week allocated for managing your team and area. You’ll also have the support of our service team for planning and administration.
As Team Leader, you’ll be the first point of contact for staff within your region, supporting their welfare, career development and providing technical support. You’ll also be working to maximise branch revenue and profit with the Regional Surveyor and presenting your region’s performance at regular Operations meetings.
With the Operations Manager you are not only responsible for the financial performance of the Region, but also in relation to quality and safety. You must ensure work is carried out safely and in a way that prevents our operations having an adverse effect on non-target wildlife. In addition, you’ll be overseeing the health and safety of staff, customers, contractors and members of the public within your region.
Whilst you’ll be allocated to a branch and given an area, we may ask you to work outside of this area for short periods to cover absences or additional work. This is not a regular occurrence and we will always give notice where possible.
